The primary concern with puppy farms is the welfare of the dogs. Unsuitable living conditions, inability to exhibit natural behaviour, lack of proper interaction and inadequate medical care lead to health and behavioural issues. The puppies are the lucky ones, most of them get out, their parents are not so lucky, they have to endure years in these conditions being repeatedly bred from until they are no longer financially viable and sent to a rescue centre or killed.
